The baptism records found here are from the original church records as they were recorded. Care was taken to preserve these records as they were originally recorded. There has been no attempt, except for the baptized given name, to perform any type of translation from Latin to English. Maiden names are shown in parentheses "(Maiden)" immediately following the surname and before the comma "," on the Name: record.

As a guide, the following two tables contains helpful information about how any such translations were performed. Table #1 is a cross reference table between Latin names and their English translations used. Table #2, is a list of frequently occurring words and their suggested meaning.
